So, during Mami’s birthday, we ducked out to someone else’s birthday party, and were treated to some traditional dancing.  These ladies of Tixkokob rocked!

I love process.  The other day I got to witness the traditional way of making meringues…wood-fired without an oven!  La suegra is a pretty amazing woman.
